Possible causes
A washing machine that won't start often relates to a door that isn't fully closed, a power problem like a loose plug, or a tripped fuse.
What you can check yourself
Check that the door is properly closed and clicks shut, and that the plug is firmly in the socket. Test another appliance on the same socket to confirm power is available.
When do you call a technician?
If the door is closed and power is present but the machine still won't start, the door lock itself may be faulty or the control board may need inspection.
