Washing machine doesn't get water?
Don't panic. Below you'll find the most common causes, what you can safely check yourself, and when it's time to call a technician.
Possible causes
No water supply is often caused by a tap that isn't fully open, a clogged inlet filter with limescale buildup, or in cold rooms, a frozen supply line.
What you can check yourself
First check that the water tap is fully open and the supply hose isn't kinked. Also clean the inlet filter, usually located where the hose connects to the machine.
When do you call a technician?
If the tap is fully open, the hose is fine and the filter is clean but the machine still doesn't get water, the inlet valve inside the machine is likely defective.
