Possible causes
A dishwasher that won't start often relates to a door that isn't properly closed, a power failure, or a locked door switch.
What you can check yourself
Check that the door clicks shut properly and that the machine has power. Try resetting by unplugging for a few minutes.
When do you call a technician?
If the reset doesn't work and the door is clearly closed, the door lock or control board may be defective.
