Dishwasher doesn't drain?
Don't panic. Below you'll find the most common causes, what you can safely check yourself, and when it's time to call a technician.
Possible causes
Standing water usually points to a clogged filter, a blocked drain hose, or food debris built up in the drain pump.
What you can check yourself
Remove the filter at the bottom of the machine and clean it thoroughly of food residue. Also check that the drain hose isn't kinked.
When do you call a technician?
If the filter is clean and the hose is straight but water remains, the blockage may be deeper in the drain pump itself.
