Possible causes
A dryer stopping mid-cycle often does so as a safety measure: for example due to overheating, a full lint filter, or a blocked air channel.
What you can check yourself
Let the dryer cool down, clean the lint filter thoroughly, and check the ventilation openings aren't blocked.
When do you call a technician?
If the dryer keeps stopping despite a clean filter and proper ventilation, there may be a sensor or heating problem needing inspection.
