Refrigerator leaks water?
Don't panic. Below you'll find the most common causes, what you can safely check yourself, and when it's time to call a technician.
Possible causes
A leaking refrigerator is often caused by a blocked defrost drain, or a misaligned drip tray at the back.
What you can check yourself
Locate the drain opening inside, usually at the back bottom, and clean it carefully. Also check the drip tray is properly in place.
When do you call a technician?
If the leak continues after cleaning the drain, there may be a deeper sealing problem needing a technician.
