Is your Samsung washing machine showing an error code? Below you'll find all known error codes, what they mean, and what you can check yourself. All information has been researched and, where possible, verified with the manufacturer. Can't solve it yourself, or does the fault keep coming back? We often schedule a technician within 24 hours.
Problem with the water inlet detected (too little/too slow water)
Reconnect the hoses (machine first, then the water pipe), ensure watertight connections, clean the detergent drawer for blockages, clean the inlet hose filter screen
Problem with the water level sensor (often too low water pressure)
Check inlet hose connection, remove any kink from the hose, switch the machine off and on
Motor isn't working
Check the socket (test with another appliance), don't overload the drum
Problem with the water drain
Check drain and drain hose for blockage/kinks, clean the drain pump filter (front, bottom right behind the flap) - note water may come out
Problem with spinning (imbalance)
Place the machine on a stable, level surface, don't over/underload the drum (leave room for 1 fist), distribute laundry evenly
Problem with the water temperature sensor (temperature in the drain higher than 50°C)
Switch off the washing machine and disconnect from power for 30 minutes, then try again
Leak detection activated (or drain hose not positioned correctly)
Switch the washing machine off completely, check the drain hose isn't blocked and the end isn't lying on the floor
Door detected as open
Check the door is closed and locked properly, check the door handle for wear/damage, make sure no laundry is caught in the door
Internal communication fault
Switch off the washing machine, wait 30 minutes, restart the programme
Not necessarily a fault - the AddWash door can't be opened during the cycle
Press the pause button first before opening the AddWash door
