Is your Samsung dryer showing an error code? Below you'll find all known error codes, what they mean, and what you can check yourself. All information has been researched and, where possible, verified with the manufacturer. Can't solve it yourself, or does the fault keep coming back? We often schedule a technician within 24 hours.
Dryer isn't getting power
Test the socket with another appliance, check the plug is properly connected
Dryer motor isn't working
Switch off the dryer and restart the drying programme
Condensate reservoir is full
Remove the reservoir, empty it at a sink, refit it, restart the programme
Lint filter possibly blocked
Remove the filter, wipe off lint, rinse clean under the tap, dry and refit. Also vacuum the condenser grille
Temperature sensor fault
Switch off the dryer, wait 5 minutes, restart the programme
Compressor overheated (on heat-pump dryers)
Switch the dryer off completely and unplug to let the compressor cool (20-25 min), then switch on again. If that doesn't work: reset via a specific button combination (check the manual for your model), otherwise technician needed
Not a fault - maintenance reminder to clean the heat exchanger (heat-pump dryers)
Open the outer flap, unlock and remove the inner flap, clean vertically with the supplied brush (don't touch with bare hands due to heat), refit the flap
Condensate reservoir is full
Slowly pull the hot handle with both hands (hold it horizontal), empty the reservoir via the drain opening, refit and hold the 'O' button to clear the message
