NTC sensor (temperature sensor) problem, heating stops
Reset: unplug for 5 min, try again. If it persists: technician needed
Water drain problem (pump filter blocked)
Clean the pump filter monthly (bottom left front), switch off power first
No/insufficient water inlet (tap closed or hose kinked)
Check the tap is open, check the hose for kinks
Detergent overdose (too much foam)
Run a 90-degree cotton cycle without detergent to remove the foam
Heating fault
Unplug, wait at least 2 min, try again. If it persists: technician needed
Water inlet blocked or insufficient water
Check the tap is fully open, check hose for kinks/blockage, check water pressure (min 10L/min)
Too much water on the base plate (possibly a leak or dirty lint filter)
Clean the lint filter; if the problem persists: possible leak, technician needed
Motor fault (often worn carbon brushes)
Cannot be fixed yourself, contact Miele/a technician
Pressure sensor fault (regulates water amount and heating)
Contact Miele/a technician
Motor speed sensor fault
Cannot be fixed yourself, contact Miele/a technician
Water protection system activated - leak detected
Shut off the tap, unplug, contact Miele (emergency release needed to remove laundry)
Water not draining properly (often a blocked drain filter)
Check the drain filter for coins/pins etc. via the flap at the bottom left front
Serious technical fault (e.g. control board or motor defect)
