Is your Bauknecht dishwasher showing an error code? Below you'll find all known error codes, what they mean, and what you can check yourself. All information has been researched and, where possible, verified with the manufacturer. Can't solve it yourself, or does the fault keep coming back? We often schedule a technician within 24 hours.
Problem with the water inlet (inlet valve possibly blocked or faulty)
Check the tap is sufficiently open. If that's fine: inlet valve possibly faulty, technician needed
NTC sensor faulty (controls temperature, machine shuts off and drains water before the programme finishes)
Sensor needs replacing, technician needed
Leak - water on the base of the machine (possibly water protection or circuit board)
Technician needed
Heating fault (problem with the heating element, water not/insufficiently heated)
Switch off the dishwasher, shut off water and power supply, check the heating element (often a burnt-out plug)
Water inlet fault / flow sensor problem (often tap forgotten, or dirty flow sensor)
Check the tap is fully open. If that's fine: clean the flow sensor, pump and filters (may be dirty)
Water inlet problem combined with water in the collection tray (result of a leak)
Switch off the machine and disconnect from water and power, technician needed (fix the leak, often soldering)
Motor fault (often tacho or carbon brushes)
Check for worn carbon brushes, check tacho coil resistance (should be ~135 Ohm)
Problem with the water level (water indicator faulty, too much foam, or water pooling in dishes)
Shut off power and water supply, check for excessive foam or dishes holding water. Faulty water indicator: replace it (yourself or via technician)
