Is your AEG dryer showing an error code? Below you'll find all known error codes, what they mean, and what you can check yourself. All information has been researched and, where possible, verified with the manufacturer. Can't solve it yourself, or does the fault keep coming back? We often schedule a technician within 24 hours.
Door open during start, or settings changed while running
Close the door and restart the programme. Don't change settings while the programme runs. Clean the hole for the door pin with a vacuum cleaner if needed
Appliance is in demonstration mode
Unplug for 30 sec, plug back in
Power supply fault - appliance not receiving correct power
Check connection to a 230V/50Hz socket, test if another appliance works on the same socket
Water drain problem
Check drain hose for kinks/blockage, check correct connection
Moisture sensor problem (drying cycles take longer)
Check socket is earthed, clean lint filter and condenser. If it persists: technician needed (sensor possibly faulty)
Temperature sensor problem
Cannot be fixed yourself, technician needed
Door doesn't close properly (often clothing caught, or wrong circuit with solar panels)
Check for clothing caught in the door, close until it clicks. With solar panels: connect dryer to a different circuit
Dryer doesn't heat properly
Clean lint filter and condenser thoroughly, ensure sufficient ventilation in the room
Temperature sensor problem (specifically steam generator on steam models)
Contact a repairer for inspection
Condensate reservoir is full
Remove reservoir, empty into the sink, refit. If drain-connected: check hose for loops and that drain isn't higher than 1 metre
